Mental Health Resources

Resources

In accordance with AB 2022, Pupil mental health services: school notification, Great Valley Academy wants to ensure that parents, guardians, and students are informed about resources available for anyone who believes they have mental health needs or are in a mental health crisis. We encourage parents/guardians and students to talk with any staff member of Great Valley Academy if they are concerned about another student and possible mental health needs. Take all threats of suicide seriously, and if you see something, say something!

Even when not in crisis, you may always speak with your student's teacher or administrator about being referred for one of GVA's short-term and solution focused school-based mental health services, such as our Social-Emotional Learning Groups or our Mental Health Clinicians. There are also a number of resources available in our community for students who struggle with social/emotional related issues that span beyond the scope of school-based mental health.

GVA is committed to the health, safety, and well-being of our students, staff, and their families.  We are proud to partner with Care Solace to support our ongoing commitment when needs span to the family system or are outside the scope of what can be addressed at school.  If you or a family member are looking for help with mental health or substance use, Care Solace will quickly connect you to community providers matched to your needsCall 888-515-0595 at any time or search on your own at caresolace.com/gva.
